Since 1976, Plannja AB has been the main sponsor of Sweden’s most successful basketball team ever, Plannja Basket. The team won the Swedish national league championships in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2007. Plannja Basket has also competed in other European leagues.

From June 2010, is Plannja AB no longer the main sponsor. Plannja AB is now the official sponsor of the team who also has changed its name to LF Basketball.
